The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is proud to announce that the 21st Annual Black & White Gala held on October 17th, at the Garrison Petawawa Normandy Officers’ Mess, raised an incredible $426,656.41 in support of the Together, We Care Campaign, helping strengthen local health care and enhance patient care close to home.

 

The record-breaking fundraising achievement reflects the extraordinary generosity of a community that continues to rally behind Pembroke Regional Hospital. Supported by sponsors, attendees, volunteers, physicians, staff, local businesses, donors, and event partners, this year's Gala once again demonstrated the power of a community united around a shared cause.

 

Support extended well beyond Gala night itself. Community members also participated in the Gala's online auction and Gala Vacation Getaway Raffle, helping further the impact of the campaign and contributing to its overall success.

 

"The Black & White Gala is a celebration of what can be accomplished when a community comes together behind a shared cause," said Christy Natsis, Gala Chair. "Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, sponsorship contribution, raffle ticket sold, donation made, and volunteer hour contributed to this remarkable result. The level of support shown throughout the campaign was inspiring and reflects the deep commitment our community has to local health care."

 

The Foundation also recognizes the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who contributed to the event's success through sponsorships, auction donations, professional services, volunteer support, and countless acts of generosity. From photography, audio-visual production, décor, entertainment, catering, event coordination, and auction services, their contributions helped create an exceptional experience for guests while supporting an important cause.

While raising more than $426,000 is an incredible achievement, what makes this success especially meaningful is knowing the impact will be felt by patients, families, friends, and neighbours throughout our community. The support shown through event attendance, sponsorships, volunteering, donations, the online auction, and the Gala Vacation Getaway Raffle will help advance the Together, We Care Campaign and strengthen health care close to home."

 

The Foundation also acknowledges the dedication of PRH physicians and staff, whose commitment to providing exceptional care helps foster the confidence and trust that inspire such strong community support. The strong presence of hospital staff and physicians at this year's Gala further reflected the shared commitment to ensuring exceptional care for patients and families across the region.

 

Together, the efforts of countless individuals, businesses, organizations, and community supporters helped make the 21st Annual Black & White Gala a record-breaking celebration of generosity in support of local health care.
