Week 6 Catch the Ace Winner Takes Home $7,930

23/7/2026

The excitement surrounding the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's Catch the Ace lottery continues to grow, with Maria Doering announced as the Week #6 winner, taking home $7,930.

Community support remained exceptionally strong throughout the week, continuing a trend that has made this Catch the Ace round one of the most successful in the Foundation's history. Just six weeks into the lottery, weekly prize amounts are approaching two-and-a-half times what they were at the same stage in previous Catch the Ace rounds, reflecting the incredible enthusiasm and participation from across the region.

"We're incredibly grateful for the support we're seeing from our community and from participants across Ontario," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "Six weeks into this round of Catch the Ace, the excitement continues to build. Every ticket sold is helping advance the Together, We Care Campaign and fund important equipment and technology needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital. It's wonderful to see people supporting local healthcare while sharing in the excitement of the lottery."

Thanks to the incredible response from the community, the campaign has already reached its goals of funding the final three Acute Mental Health Security Beds and a new lighting system for the Obstetrics department. The Foundation looks forward to sharing the next Together, We Care Campaign funding priority with the community next week as Catch the Ace continues to build momentum.
