How We Can Help

Mental Health Services Renfrew County (MHSRC) provides:

  • Toll-free, bilingual telephone support via the 24/7 Crisis Line: 1-866-996-0991 or 613-722-6918 (Ottawa local)
  • Referral when indicated to the local OPP Mobile Crisis Team, daily 10 am to 8 pm
  • Rapid assessment, de-escalation and stabilization of those in crisis with the help of supporting caregivers, family and friends
  • Facilitation or prevention of acute hospital admissions
  • Follow-up visits and in-community support
  • Access to wellness information and community resources

A mental health crisis does not necessarily require hospital-based assessment. It can be effectively supported in your community by the MHSRC team. Timely intervention goes a long way towards reducing the risk of an escalating crisis.
